- Description
-
Unglazed, gray earthenware vessel with flat base. The sides of the vessel rise steeply toward the flared rim, increasing gradually in circumference. The rim is neatly mirrored at the flared base. The surfaces are smoothed and burnished and other tool marks in evdience. The surface is pitted throughout with small, elongated lacunae which may be the result of an organic component of the temper that burned off in the firing.
