Description
Small, deep bowl, made of gray-yellow clay, with red-purple slip decoration on the interior, depicting stylized animals (goats and reindeer) and triangular cross-hatching. Wheelmade/finished.Deep hemispherical bowl with slightly flattened base. Exterior, plain. On the interior, painted in matte red paint on opposite sides, are two crosshatched triangles. Between them on opposite sides are quadrupeds with exaggeratedly long horns, painted in silhouette, in simple, schematic style. Pale orange, gritty clay; wheelmarks clearly visible. -
