Hollow-cast mount with flanged top, tubular neck, bell-shaped body. Ridged at junction of neck and body and around base.

This kind of object served to support a finial, one of the most characteristic products of the bronze industry that flourished in the Luristan region of western Iran in the period from 1400 to 800 B.C.E. (see S1987.79, S1996.77, and S1996.78).
