Object Details

  • Description

A bumpy-skinned toad sits on a lotus leaf staring straight ahead. A small lotus bud appears on the side of the leaf just below the front of the toad. The underside of the leaf, which has a brown color suggestive of the natural decay of a lotus leaf, is carved with a handsome relief pattern of leaf veins.
