Dr. Arthur M. Sackler 1913-1987
Disk with open center, projecting inner ring; tan. (Calcified; soil adhering to both sides in what appears to be root patterns; one fracture, minor, on inner flange, one slight hairline crack from outer edge to flange, appears to have been taped at one time to stabilize; red flecks near number.)
(Jenny F. So, Jade Project Database, entered March 24, 2009) Opaque mottled ivory colored, with soil and cinnabar surface; altered; cracked and repaired. Thicker than others in collection, but disk is still evenly thin, leaving an evenly high collar, marked by a slightly shaped (concave) profile around the outer wall. Finish is precise and angular.
