Detached bifolio from a Qur'an; recto: left-hand half of a double-page frontispiece, detached from the facing folio (S1986.77.1), Sura al-Fatiha (the Opener), sura 1:5-7, recto begins with "iyaka"; verso: Sura al-Baqara (the Cow), sura 2:1-9 and part of 10, verso begins with "bismillah"; Arabic in white muhaqqaq script; vocalized in white; one of a group of twenty folios.
