Chinese mirror suspension

The decoration on the object is basically divided into three sections with two raised bands. The outermost ring is the simplest yet the largest. It is composed of sixteen large half circles that are connected together and face the open side outward.

The second ring contains four Chinese characters that mean “bringing wealth and royalty to home.” There are also four raised cone-shaped bosses between the characters and four pairs of circle decoration surround these cones. These two rings are divided with a raised band that contains slashes all the way around.

The third ring, innermost, has the same decoration as the outermost (consecutive half circles) with a raised semi-circular boss located in the center. As with the four small cones on the second ring, the large boss is also surrounded with pairs of circle decoration. There is a hole that penetrates the side of the large boss that probably would have been used to attach a handle.
