Object Details

  • Description

    The vessel is low with a wide rim and short, narrow foot. The color of the cup is deep creme with variations tending towards yellow or brown.
    Cizhou ware; stoneware shallow conical cup on a small, low, wide-rimmed foot. Coated all over with an unctuous creamy glaze--over white slip (traces of burial). N. Song.
