- Description

Small jar with tapering neck and rounded rim, flattened shoulder and globular body.
Clay: fine gray stoneware.
Glaze: clear, large irregular crackle; slightly bluish where thicker.
Decoration: in underglaze cobalt; lotus-petal collar around shoulder, above faint double line; on body, three large four-petal flowers interspersed with sprays of foliage, bounded below by two faint double lines; near base, three abstract brush marks probably meant to be cloud scrolls.
