Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; recto: Sura al-Ra'd (the Thunder) 13: part of verse 2, recto begins with "al-shams"; verso: sura 13: last word of 2 and part of 3, verso begins with "tuqinuna"; Arabic in black kufic script; gold orbs stacked as pyramid-shaped verse markers; vocalized in red, brown, and green; one column; 3 lines of text.
The name of the sura, al-Ra'd (the Thunder), is written in naskhi script in the corner of the folio.
