Object Details

  • Description

    Bowl: low basin-form; wide fluted rim with festooned edge; heavy foot; brown unglazed ring on base.
    Clay: very hard, dense, heavily molded.
    Glaze: luminous bluish-green celadon; area of incipient disintegration.
    Decoration: incised and modelled in paste.
