Object Details

  • Description

    Bowl: with curved flaring sides; high, basal ring. Repaired.
    Clay: dense, heavy grayish-white.
    Glaze: turquoise green with areas of incipient disintegration.
    Decoration: painted over glaze in dull red, black, and blue-gray and white, with traces of gold.
    Contains inscription in white Kufic script.
