Object Details

  • Description

    Tea-bowl, deep compressed ovoidal; high basal ring with four arch-notches. Gold lacquer repairs.
    Clay: resonant, grayish.
    Glaze: glassy iridescent cream, crackled; overflow of pale green and fawn-color. Five spur marks in glaze on inside bottom; five spur marks on footrim.
