Design of two birds in dark brown slip on white, thin brown edge; solid foot with wide central raised disk. Broken and repaired; small pieces of glaze chipped off. The word arabic word for “blessing” is repeated on the body of each bird.
Clay: soft, buff-white, stained on base. Glaze: opaque cream white, partly crackled and stained. Decoration: a band of Kufic writing from rim to rim in brown slip except for three letters in red. One brown letter at top and bottom. Broken and repaired.
