Description
Although the vessel is described as a plate, one might also call it a shallow bowl given its curving sides and wide outturned rim. The interior of the plate is decorated with a landscape scene executed in blue and white; surrounding the central decoration is a wide band divided into ten sections, each of which bears the same floral decoration done in blue, black, and white. The outer surface between the foot ring and the rim bears a simple decoration made up of three blue concentric rings and nine blue lines which radiate out from the foot ring. -
