Description
Polychrome ceramic plate with a gently concave body, plain rim and a low raised foot ring. The pinkish red ware is decorated on the front with blue, green, yellow/tan and brick red floral designs on a white (slip) background; the back is plain white with dark green lines encircling the rim and foot. The plate has a clear overglaze except on the foot, which is covered with a dark brown material. There is a drilled hole in the foot ring, but no remaining hanging wire. -
