Object Details

• Description

  This bowl has a flattened rim and a ring foot. The decoration includes a white background and blue vertical stripes which end in a circle inside the bottle [sic] of the vessel, and at the ring foot on the outside of the vessel. The flattened rim is blue.

  The Hauge family began collecting Asian paintings, sculpture, and ceramics in the late 1940s and amassed a large collection in the post-World War II years.
