Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; recto: Sura al-Isra (the Night journey) 17: parts of verses 34, 35-38, and 39, recto begins with "ahsanu"; verso: 17: parts of verses 39-43 and 44, verso begins with "mimma"; Arabic in black and blue bihari script, and gold thuluth script with round illuminated verse markers and an illuminated pear-shaped marginal medallion; vocalized in black; late addition interlinear Persian translation in red nasta'liq; one column; thirteen lines of text. -
