  Detached folio from a Qur'an; recto: Sura Nuh (Noah), sura 71: part of 9-26 and part of 27, recto begins with "wa'asrartu", one column, 15 lines of text; verso: sura 71:27-28, Sura al-Jinn (the Jinn), sura 72:1-9 and part of 10, verso begins with "allafajiraa", one column, 14 lines of text; Arabic in black, blue, white and gold naskh and muhaqqaq scripts, sura headings in white thuluth script, vocalized in black with red letters for reading and recitation, marginal medallion and inscription; one of a group of twenty folios.

  Border: Text is set in gold, red, blue and purple rulings on cream-colored paper with marginal medallions.
