Description
The vessel has a broad shoulder which curves in to form a low slender waist before it flares out to form the foot; the rim rises slightly above the shoulder and turns outward. On the outer surface a green glaze was applied to create an image of white flowers against a green background. A seal, blue/black in color, is present on the bottom inside the foot. -
Inscriptions
The foot has an incised double ring enclosing Kozan's signature (Makuzu/Kozan sei) written in dark blue cobalt inside a square. -
