  Large plate, waster.

  Clay: porcelain.

  Glaze: clear. Oxidized outside. Rim fragment of another vessel (showing butterfly) attached inside.

  Decoration: in cobalt pigment under the glaze. Stylized wave pattern around the rim. Central medaillon shows cliff, clouds, ground line, plants flanking a pair of geese (one squawking, one with head tucked in its wings).

  Mark: none.
