Folio from a dispersed copy of Yusuf u Zulaykha by Jami; Persian in black nasta'liq script on gold-flecked paper; heading in red; recto: text: 2 columns, 14 lines; verso: text: 2 columns, 14 lines; one of a group of 13.Border: The recto is set in gold, green, and black rulings in a margin with birds, floral, and leaf scrolls. The verso is set in gold, green, and black rulings in a margin with lions, bulls, foxes, rabbits,and birds in a landscape. -
