    Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; recto: right-hand half of a double-page composition separate from its facing folio (F1929.74), Sura al-Fatiha (the Opener) 1:1-4 and part of 5, Arabic in black naskhi script, illuminated heading in "eastern kufic (New Style)" script, one column 3 lines of text; verso: text, Turkish and Persian in black naskhi script, one column,17 lines of text; rosette verse markers; illuminated title band with sura title in "eastern kufic (New Style)" at the top and palmette scroll at the bottom; marginal medallion; vocalized in black; one of a group of 2 folios.
    Border: The text is set in gray rulings on cream-colored paper.
