  • Description

    Tea caddy (chaire), cylindrical with two blind loop handles. Ivory cover.
    Clay: hard, grayish, lustrous brown on surface.
    Glaze: thin wash of metallic brown; overflow of olive-brown edged with brilliant black. Interior glazed.
