Object Details

• Description

  Bowl: low with uneven rim; spreading foot tapered at edge and slightly concave underneath.

  Clay: medium stoneware: grayish white, red where fired.

  Glaze: greenish running to yellowish where it covers areas of white slip; crackled; some blobs under foot; brownish appearance where stained. Three small spurmarks in bottom.

  Note three small spurmarks in bottom of bowl; added to the description in the attribution.
