Silk Road Society
The Silk Road Society is the premier membership in Washington, D.C., for young professionals (21–40) interested in Asian art. Members receive exclusive access to world-class exhibitions, programs featuring top museum scholars, and social events throughout the year.
Volunteers are an essential link between the public and the museum and work to carry out the museum's educational mission. Volunteers include docents, who guide school and adult tours of the museum's exhibitions and collections, and Volunteer Information Specialists, who provide information services to museum visitors.
